Over the past decade we have seen landlines being disconnected and telephone books harder to find, very few people now use a phone book. An entire generation has now grown up without a rotary dial telephone in the house. Telephones and telephone directories are now found in local museums, antiques shops, op shops and on Trade-me and like paper maps are also fast disappearing. Wristwatches as we use to know them will be a thing of the past. Children now have difficulty telling time from analog clocks with hands.
